Factor OSTRO VAM review

Tested on: Sa Calobra, Puig Major, Cap de Formentor

What sticks after hundreds of rental days: the OSTRO VAM is the bike nobody likes handing back. Uphill it feels like a climbing bike, in the Formentor descents it sits planted and calm – and on the fast coast road back to Can Picafort you understand why Factor calls it aero. The most common sentence at return: “That is exactly the bike I want.”

Factor ONE review

Tested on: the flat roads Alcúdia–Muro–Petra

The ONE polarises – exactly right for an aero racer. Attack out of the group and you get it immediately: this bike wants to hold speed, the Black Inc wheels roll like flywheels. In the mountains it demands more than the OSTRO VAM – but on the flat, none of our guests gets past it.

Factor MONZA review

Tested on: the big island loop via Petra, Sineu & the east coast

The MONZA is the bike the six-hour riders ask for – and after the day they all say the same thing: you get off and could keep going. The Di2 shifts precisely even with tired hands, the position stays relaxed for hours without the bike ever feeling dull. Endurance as Factor means it: comfortable, not slow.

We recommend the model that fits you – not the most expensive one. We ride these bikes ourselves on Mallorca’s climbs, rent them to hundreds of guests per season and hear every piece of feedback. This guide is the sum of that. And if you want to test first: rent a Factor from us – the full rental is credited on purchase, no cap.

Frequently asked questions about choosing

Which Factor is right for someone new to the brand?

On the road, the OSTRO VAM – it covers everything and grows with every goal. In gravel, the ALUTO (“Race Balance”), Factor’s most accessible entry. And if you are unsure: rent a Factor from us on Mallorca first – the rental is fully credited on purchase, with no cap.

Can I compare or test the models before buying?

Yes – our biggest advantage over any online shop: the OSTRO VAM, ONE and MONZA are in our Mallorca rental fleet. Ride them back to back on the same climbs and compare directly. When you buy, we credit the full rental amount.

I am torn between two models – now what?

Send us both models in your enquiry and briefly describe your terrain and goals. We ride these bikes ourselves and will tell you honestly which one fits – even if it is the cheaper one. You then get a concrete quote for your model at list price.
