From Can Picafort in every direction
The coast road towards Artà: the local secret right on the doorstep – via Son Serra de Marina and Colònia de Sant Pere you roll along the sea on a quiet road with the Serra de Llevant on the horizon. Little traffic, gentle rollers: perfect for the first spin on your hire bike.
Es Pla & the quiet interior: inland through Santa Margalida lies the rolling terrain around Petra, Sineu and Maria de la Salut – long base miles on empty country roads with a coffee stop on a village plaça. Also brilliant as a gravel loop on farm tracks.

Where exactly is your bike hire in Can Picafort? +
Our bike station is at Ctra. Artà-Alcúdia 103 in Can Picafort (07458) – on the main road towards Artà, a few minutes from the beach promenade and the hotels. Open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, and collection at the station is free.
Can I hire a road bike in Can Picafort? +
Yes – road bikes are our speciality. At the Can Picafort station you'll find carbon road bikes from Factor and Canyon, plus gravel bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes, from €25 per day on the weekly rate. Before handover we fit every bike to your measurements and mount your preferred pedal system – your own pedals free of charge.
Do I need to book ahead, or can I just walk in? +
Both work. In peak season (February–May) we recommend sending an enquiry in advance, because popular models and frame sizes go quickly. Walking in often works too – if your bike is in stock, you ride off straight after the fitting.
What does bike hire cost – any hidden fees? +
Bikes start at €25 per day on the weekly rate; from 7 days the cheaper weekly price applies automatically. Insurance, a professional bike fit and a puncture kit (spare tube, pump) are always included. No deposit – you simply show a valid ID. Cancellation is free at any time.
Do you set the bike up for me at the station? +
Yes – that is the advantage of collecting in person: we set saddle height and riding position to your measurements right at the station, fit your pedal system (own pedals free, clipless SPD-SL/SPD/Look Kéo for €10 per hire) and you do a short test loop before setting off.
Do you also deliver, in case I cannot come to the station? +
Yes. For a one-off €60 per booking we deliver to your hotel – in Can Picafort itself, to Playa de Muro, Alcúdia, Puerto Pollensa and island-wide. Most guests staying in Can Picafort simply collect for free though – the station is just around the corner.
Which rides start right in Can Picafort? +
Can Picafort is an ideal starting point: flat roads into s'Albufera and around the bay towards Formentor, the quiet coast road via Son Serra and Colònia de Sant Pere towards Artà, or inland through Santa Margalida into the rolling Es Pla towards Petra and Sineu. The Tramuntana and Sa Calobra are reached via Muro and Sa Pobla.
