Template: please have this legally reviewed before go-live. The named processors (Vercel, Resend, Booqable, Google Analytics) reflect the current technical setup – verify addresses and data processing agreements.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Elite Sports Mallorca SLU · CIF B70828272
Ctra. Artà-Alcúdia, 103, 07458 Can Picafort, Balearic Islands, Spain
Email: info@elitesports-mallorca.com · Phone: +34 607 183 610
2. General
We process personal data only to the extent necessary and on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD). This policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the processing.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you access the site, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, browser, time, page requested) is processed in server logs to ensure delivery and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number if given, message) in order to respond to your request. Technical delivery is handled by the provider Resend (email API). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (responding to enquiries). Data is deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention periods apply.
5. Booking enquiries (Booqable)
For rental and booking enquiries we use the rental software Booqable (Booqable B.V., Netherlands). When you submit an enquiry through the configurator we process the data required to handle it: name, email address, optionally phone and address, and the details of your enquiry (bike, size, period, accessories). No online payment takes place here; the enquiry is non-binding and confirmed manually by us. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of the rental contract). A data processing agreement is in place with Booqable.
6. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
For statistical analysis of usage we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by
Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It processes usage data
(such as pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device and browser data) and sets cookies
(e.g. _ga) to recognise returning visits. The IP address is processed in truncated form.
A transfer to Google in the USA cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy
Framework.
On your first visit we show a cookie notice that lets you object to the analytics. The legal basis is your consent and/or our legitimate interest in audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). You can object at any time with future effect – by choosing “Decline” in the cookie notice, deleting the cookies in your browser, or installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
7. Cookies
Beyond technically necessary functions, we use analytics cookies from Google Analytics (see point 6). On your first visit we inform you via a cookie notice, where you can decline the analytics. You can change your decision at any time by deleting the website cookies in your browser – the notice will then appear again on your next visit.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Objection to processing (Art. 21)
- Withdrawal of consent with future effect (Art. 7(3))
To exercise these rights, simply email the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
9. Data security
Data is transmitted in encrypted form via TLS/SSL (recognisable by “https” and the padlock icon in your browser) to protect it against unauthorised access.
10. Changes
We update this privacy policy whenever changes to our processing or the legal situation require it. The version published on this page applies.
