The Aparthotel Duva & Spa in Port de Pollença has been the grand old name of Mallorcan bike hotels for decades: by its own account the town’s first cycling-dedicated accommodation, and a classic training base in the north – a fixture with British tour operators and popular with visiting cycling clubs.

The centrepiece is the cycling centre of more than 500 m²: a CCTV-monitored garage with over 400 hanging hooks, a mechanic workshop, wash bay, GPS route information and even meeting rooms for groups and clubs. The hotel opens from March to November – precisely the road season.

The Port de Pollença location is front-row for training: Formentor as the doorstep loop, the Coll de Femenia as the direct way into the Tramuntana towards Lluc and Sa Calobra.
